Junichirou KOIZUMIWe call for the highest possible efforts to release captured persons safety and withdrawal the troops of JASF from Iraq
On 8th of April, it has taken place that an armed group captured three Japanese civilians as hostages. The armed group threatened to kill these captured persons if the Japanese Government does not withdrawal the troops of JSDF from Iraq. The threat to kill the captured persons not to withdrawal JDSF from IRAQ is a brutality which should not be permitted absolutely. We call that the Japanese Government makes the highest efforts to insure the three captured person’s safety and to release them immediately. It is obvious that the capture is a result of dispatch the troops of JSDF to Iraq by the Japanese Government.
We have repeated to express that the Japanese Government should not dispatch JDSF in Iraq. We demand the Japanese Government strongly to withdrawal the troops of JSDF from Iraq again.
